We have computer TIPS to pass on to help you stay tuned and running at cruising speed. Many of us are just sticking to the basics of controlling the computer's that we enjoy using. When we say basics we mean just turning it on and using it for a few functions like the internet, using word to type letters, or just play games.

  The basics are not really going to help you when something goes wrong. That is why you need to understand your personal computer and establish a relationship. Get to know your friend (your computer) it will pay off in the long run. We know of people who went to the shop when their computer did something weird, just to learn more about their computer and paying frequent bills just to fix something they did not know that their computer could do on its own.

  Hi my name is Manny Higazi a Microsoft Certified Professional. I will be here posting many TIPS to pass on to you, that you can use to help you get started in that relationship we spoke about.

  It is very important to know a lot more because you are running a machine, okay lets say electronic machine. The computers are simple just like putting oil in your car to keep it running and happy. Once in awhile your computer might swallow something and would need your help to remove it or make it go away.

  So take the time and reads some of the TIPS or just wait until your friend decides to play Who's the BOSS. Take control before it controls you. Questions and answers below are actual events that took place when I provided technical support and or service to my customers. If it worked for them then it will work for you. Unless it's TOO late where your computer is now controlling you.

Why does my computer run slow?	Too much data load-programs, games etc that uses up the memory (ram). Also needing more memory ram (brain cells). One more thing to add, need a tune up. ACTION: Delete programs not used, yes including those 3d games, print shop software etc.  Next run a scandisk to check the hard drive. Then defrag the hard drive. This should free up memory resources and allowing the computer to flex its muscles. Best approach add more ram memory and reformat hard drive.
My laptop mouse stopped working I can't control my desktop at all.	Apparently the mouse driver is corrupt or conflicting with other hardware. All laptops that I have played with have the ability to detect new hardware and install default drivers. ACTION: Shut down the laptop. Find a spare mouse and connect to the laptop port for external mouse. Restart or power on it should detect and install external mouse. Once you are in like slim look into the hardware settings in the control panel and troubleshoot the laptop mouse.
Should I invest in a new computer that's top of the line?	Ask yourself are you satisfied with what your present computer does for you? ACTION: If yes don't start a habit that will have you spending on unnecessary cash. Once you move up to top of the line you never want to go back because now you have a reputation to support. If no, try to see if upgrading is possible and least expensive. Then I would recommend it and try not to get hooked like me. Once I custom built my computer for speed and 3d gaming I just keep wanting more, and more and you know let's say it together "MORE"
What sites do you recommend for software programs and utilities?	There are many sites out there and I have been satisfied with one site that has helped me learn new computing technology and relating sites. ACTION: Go to http://www.download.com  type in the search window a key word of what you want to do. EX: computer tune up, image editor, music log, etc.
How can I fix my desktop display that has only 256 colors?	The display settings might have been changed by a program or the display driver might be missing or corrupt. ACTION: Sometimes games and programs adjust display settings so it can work or be viewed the way it was designed to work. Go to the control panel select display then setting. You will see the settings on the colors in that window below. If you can not select anything higher that the 256 colors, your display driver has to be reinstalled. Go to the computer manufacturers website and download the latest display drivers. They also provide installation instructions for their software.
